RSN form analyst Mark Hunter has identified the Simon Zahra-trained Dirty Deeds (Race 6 No5) as his best value selection across the country on Saturday.
Hunter expects the son of Arrowfield Stud stallion Dundeel to prove competitive in the 1600-metre Benchmark 78 contest after an improved effort when stepping up to the mile at Flemington last start.
“He’s had the two runs back from a spell, loves the wet and is ready to fire,” Hunter told The Breakfast Club.
“Jye McNeil takes over and you will see him closing very hard at the finish.”
Dirty Deeds will jump from barrier eight in a race where the Ciaron Maher and David Eustace-trained Mayfair Spirit occupies favouritism.
He is currently an $8 chance with TAB.com.au.
Hunter’s Formula Bet
Race 5 No2 – El Padrino
Race 8 No4 – Extremely Lucky
Odds: $23.80
