The bonuses are designed to convince owners of spring contenders to compete exclusively in Melbourne throughout their build-ups towards the richest events of the carnival.
“We’re excited to unveil $5m in bonuses for the 2022 Victorian Spring Racing Carnival on top of the previously announced prizemoney increases to both country minimums and feature races across the state,” RV’s executive general manager of racing Greg Carpenter said.
