Adele Harrison Middle School presents 8th-grade awards – Sonoma Index-Tribune

This week, Adele Harrison Middle School presented its eighth-grade awards, honoring dozens of students for their hard work and commitment to education and their community.
For successful participation in the dual immersion program.

Awarded to dual immersion program students who demonstrate excellence in both English and Spanish literacy.

This award is given to students who maintained a 3.5 GPA or above for 8 of 9 trimesters and demonstrate high achievement in English and/or math as proven by academic data.

This award is given to two students in each department (science, history, language arts, math, PE, DI History, ELD) who have exhibited academic excellence and effort with assignments and class participation during their time at Adele.

This award is given to two students who participated in the AVID program and have the motivation and desire to prepare for entrance to a four-year university.

This award will be given to one student who has shown school community involvement and leadership that exemplifies our school vision.
Student: Evan Holley
This award is given to one student who emulates Mrs. Adele Harrison’s spirit of compassionate and dedicated service to our community. Students were asked to write a letter explaining their community service activities.
Students: Max Rueda
This award is given to two students who not only show excellence in science, but have shown extra involvement in technology and/or the combination of science, tech, engineering and math.
Students: Max Nohl and Jack Jamison
This most honorable award is given to two students who exhibit excellent academic performance, citizenship, and social skills for their time at Adele Harrison.
